Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Diprivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor has chosen Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mason Taylor was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Diprivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Taylor!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diprivan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Diprivan throws a leg kick but Taylor checks it.
That kick from Diprivan tenderised Taylor's leg. Taylor is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Diprivan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Taylor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Taylor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Diprivan looks to throw a body kick
and Taylor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Taylor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diprivan.
Diprivan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor tests Diprivan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Taylor lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Taylor swings for the body but Diprivan moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diprivan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diprivan throws a leg kick
and Taylor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Taylor moves out of range as Diprivan throws a body kick.
Diprivan misses with a head kick.
Diprivan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Taylor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Diprivan throws a leg kick that misses.

Taylor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diprivan, pushing him back against the cage.

Taylor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Diprivan backwards.
Diprivan is breathing heavily.
A nice left hand lands by Taylor.
Taylor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Taylor slows down the pace here.
Taylor lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Taylor working some nice short punches in the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Diprivan's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Taylor lands with a right to the head.

Diprivan is rocked!

Taylor lands a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taylor is pushing Diprivan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Taylor throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Diprivans head.
A bit of stalling here from Taylor.
Taylor lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Oh Diprivan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taylor lands a hook that snaps the head of Diprivan backwards.
Taylor throws a big uppercut that drops Diprivan! More strikes from Taylor and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Diprivan lies dazed against the cage as Taylor celebrates with his cornermen!

Mason Taylor bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
