Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Midget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Cry of the Blackbirds. Midget has chosen MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Remy Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Masaru Midget!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Midget.
A slapping body kick lands there for Midget.
Decent striking displayed by Midget there.

Midget closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jones working hard to break the clinch.
Midget lands a hook that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Midget has double underhooks.
Jones takes a shot to the head.

It looks like Remy Jones has been cut.
Midget throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joness head.
Jones misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Midget.
Midget lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.
Midget scores with a nice hook to the head.
Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Midget walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Midget looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Midget moves into the clinch successfully.
Midget lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Midget is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones can't break the clinch.
Midget stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Midget makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Jones is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Midget cracks Jones with a nice body shot.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Midget drops Jones onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jones is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Midget pushes Jones against the cage. Midget is working some dirty boxing. Midget pushes off with a quick right hook! Jones goes down! Jones tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Midget moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Masaru Midget!
A determined Masaru Midget didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
