The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tchepikov tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tchepikov throws a body punch but Hunt moves out of range.
Tchepikov throws a hook to the side of Hunt's head but Hunt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hunt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tchepikov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hunt misses with a straight right.
Tchepikov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hunt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hunt blocks a jab.
Tchepikov tries a head kick but it misses.

It looks like Titanic Hunt has been cut.
Hunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tchepikov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maksimilian Tchepikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hunt moves forwards but Tchepikov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Tchepikov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunt manages to avoid it.
A jab lands there for Tchepikov.
Hunt lands the left hand.
That kick from Hunt tenderised Tchepikov's leg. Tchepikov is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tchepikov throws the left hand but Hunt avoids the punch easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hunt scores with the left hand. Tchepikov knows he should have avoided that one.

Tchepikov lands a big head kick that sends Hunt tumbling to the mat! Tchepikov takes a step backwards and waves Hunt back to his feet - he wants the finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Maksimilian Tchepikov will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tchepikov has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
