Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kostas Charalabous!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rehti Ladi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charalabous avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ladi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ladi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A slow jab from Charalabous misses its intended target.
Charalabous fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Charalabous throws a front kick aimed at Ladi's knee but Ladi avoids it well.
Ladi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Charalabous throws out the jab.
Charalabous explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Charalabous attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Charalabous throws a leg kick that misses.
Charalabous scores with a spinning back kick!
Ladi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Charalabous.
Ladi checks a leg kick.
Charalabous darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Charalabous. That's going to slow Ladi down.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ladi - that will leave a mark!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Charalabous bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ladi's head backwards.
Ladi cracks Charalabous with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ladi moves out of range of the body kick from Charalabous.
Ladi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Charalabous connects with a nice cross there... Ladi is looking wobbly and Charalabous recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Ladi to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Charalabous jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kostas Charalabous!
