Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zane Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Assange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Peltier might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rockstar-Chamillionaire. The crowd seem to be enjoying Assange's choice of entrance music: Eddie Van Halen - Eruption. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peltier uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Assange.
Assange is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Assange fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peltier manages to avoid it.
Assange shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Peltier eats them both and turns towards Assange to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Assange throws a hook but Peltier avoids it easily.
Assange has taken the fight to the clinch.
Peltier lands a right hand that snaps the head of Assange backwards.
Assange lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Peltier backwards.
Assange works on Peltier's body with a couple of short punches.
Assange misses with a short punch on the inside.
Assange digs a right hand into Peltier's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Peltier's gas tank.
Assange presses Peltier against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Peltier.

Peltier closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Assange rushes Peltier and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Peltier is looking for a takedown.
Peltier putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Assange in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Assange is leaning against Peltier and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Assange is pressed up against the cage. Peltier has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Assange down to the mat. Assange avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Assange throws a shot to the body.
Peltier wants to clinch.
Assange fails to land with a series of punches.
Assange dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Peltier looks to land a body kick but Assange moved away.
Assange ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
James Assange is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Assange lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Peltier shoots for a double leg takedown but Assange sprawls well. He's pushed Peltier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Assange clinches up with Peltier and pushes him back against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Assange takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Peltier tries to land knees in the clinch but Assange avoids the damage to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Peltier is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

James Assange seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Peltier is trying to drag Assange to the mat but Assange just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Peltier is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Assange pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Assange swings wildly with an uppercut but Peltier uses good head movement to avoid it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Assange pushes Peltier against the cage. Assange is working some dirty boxing. Assange pushes off with a quick right hook! Peltier goes down! Peltier tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Assange moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

A very excited looking James Assange rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
