The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Croswell. That snapped Carter's head back.
Croswell throws the kick towards the body but Carter avoids it.
Croswell misses with a two punch combination.
Croswell connects with a right hand. Carter shakes it off.
Croswell looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well.

Carter gets the takedown into side control.
Carter advances nicely into full mount.

Carter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Croswell really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Carter lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Carter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Croswell looks a forlorn figure.

Carter wants to control the pace but Croswell is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter has hold of Croswell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Croswell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Carter pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Carter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Croswell looks a forlorn figure.

Carter has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Croswell's face.
