The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buffet moves into range and clinches up with Maldonado.
Maldonado has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Buffet avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Buffet prevents the takedown attempt.
Buffet lands with a left to the head.

Buffet pushes Maldonado back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Oh Maldonado is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Buffet manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Buffet presses Maldonado against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Buffet breaks from the clinch.
A head kick by Buffet - that's a beauty! Maldonado is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Buffet can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
