Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Floyd Aprilweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Floyd Aprilweather has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Floyd Aprilweather seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt throws a leg kick that is checked
and Aprilweather counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Aprilweather misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Good leg kick by Schmidt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Schmidt has closed the distance and engaged Aprilweather in a clinch.
Schmidt gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Aprilweather is trying to force a seperation but Schmidt has the dominant position.

Aprilweather tries to work over Schmidt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Schmidt gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Floyd Aprilweather has been cut.

Schmidt lands a damaging elbow.
Schmidt throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Schmidt looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Oh Aprilweather is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Schmidt lands a nice elbow.
Schmidt looking to throw knees to the head but Aprilweather is blocking nicely.
Aprilweather tries to break the clinch but Schmidt is controlling the position.
Schmidt smacks Aprilweather right on the bridge of the nose with a massive elbow! Another one lands and Aprilweather goes down! He's clearly dazed - will he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7... up to one knee... 8,9,10! He's not made it! This one is all over!

After the fight, John Schmidt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
