Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Gamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Audet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Audet has chosen Will.I.Am - T.H.E. as his entrance music. The key to victory for Edward Gamer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Gamer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Audet!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Audet fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gamer jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Nathan Audet has been cut.

Audet shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gamer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gamer is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gamer can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gamer is not content to let Audet control the position.
Gamer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Audet's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Gamer works his way to full guard. Good work.

and Gamer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Gamer darts in and clinches Audet up against the cage.
Audet tries a knee to the head but Gamer blocks it.
A body shot lands from Gamer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Edward Gamer has been cut.
Gamer digs a right hand underneath Audet's ribcage. Audet let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gamer scores with a shoulder strike.
Still in the clinch, Gamer scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gamer swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Gamer tries to throw a body punch but Audet avoids it by throwing Gamer back against the cage.

Gamer breaks from the clinch.
Gamer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Audet on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Audet avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Audet cracks the inside of Gamer's front leg.
A jab lands there for Gamer.
Audet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gamer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Audet is rocked!
Gamer cracks Audet with an open hand slap.
Audet is still on wobbly legs! Can Gamer finish him?
Audet moves in looking to clinch but Gamer pushes him off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Audet wants to clinch up but Gamer keeps it at a distance.

Audet moves in looking to clinch but Gamer pushes him off.
Gamer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Audet's hands.

Gamer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Audet wants to clinch.

Audet has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gamer misses with some punches.
Gamer tries to throw a body punch but Audet avoids it by throwing Gamer back against the cage.
Gamer is leaning against Audet and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Audet lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gamer manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gamer is pulling down on Audet's head. It's preventing any offense from Audet, at least for the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gamer wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Audet is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gamer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Audet wants to clinch.
Audet misses with a head kick.
Audet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Gamer throws a lazy right hand but Audet sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Audet looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Audet looking to score a takedown here. Gamer is defending well but Audet drives through and ends up in Gamer's guard.
Audetis looking to pass into half guard but Gamer pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gamer is in guard.
Audet keeping moving, preventing Gamer from controlling successfully.
Gamer wants to stand but Audet is controlling his posture from full guard.
Audet can't keep his opponent in guard - Gamer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Audet wants to control the action here but instead Gamer manages to pass to full mount!
Audet tries to reverse the position but Gamer maintains control.

Nathan Audet has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gamer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Audet avoids a series of strikes thrown by Gamer.
Gamer misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Gamer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Audet is looking to escape.

That's time! Gamer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Gamer cracks Audet with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Audet forces Gamer back against the cage and clinches.
Gamer can't find room to land a body shot as Audet controls the action.
Gamer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Audet backwards.
Gamer swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Audet is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Audet prevents a body shot from Gamer.
Audet landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Audet with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gamer lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Gamer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gamer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gamer tries to throw a body punch but Audet avoids it by throwing Gamer back against the cage.

Gamer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gamer is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Audet shoots in looking for a takedown. Gamer tries to sprawl out of it but Audet keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gamer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Gamer counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Audet badly! He tries to strike back but Gamer puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Audet out cold! Oh man, Audet will never hear the end of this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Edward Gamer!
