Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Laurent Tesser!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tesser.
Tesser tries to clinch up.
Tesser tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tesser tries to clinch but Ryan moves out of range.

Ryan looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tesser is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ryan is controlling him.

Tesser has his feet on Ryan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Tesser throws a right hand that Ryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Ryan also avoids with ease.
Ryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Some wild striking there from Tesser.
Tesser will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ryan swats away the attempt to clinch by Tesser.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tesser looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tesser pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tesser misses with the combination.

Tesser clinches with his opponent.

Tesser breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ryan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ryan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ryan won't let Tesser get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Ryan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Tesser wants to try and get back to his feet.
Tesser is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Ryan lands a big elbow.
Tesser is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tesser wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ryan.

Ryan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Ryan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tesser is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Ryan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tesser looks a forlorn figure.
Tesser tries to buck Ryan off but Ryan takes his back!

Tesser controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Tesser looks gassed!

Tesser won't enjoy being in this position. Ryan looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Tesser is tapping - it's over boys! Ryan picks up the submission victory!
