Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Borocop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Borocop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Borocop counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Taylor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Taylor walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Taylor tries for a takedown but Borocop circles away easily
and Borocop counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Taylor wants to clinch.
Borocop throws a hook but Taylor avoids it easily.
Borocop scores with a shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Taylor is defended easily by Borocop.
Mark Borocop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Taylor.
Taylor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Taylor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Taylor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Borocop avoids it really well and circles away.

Borocop lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Taylor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Taylor jumps guard and drags Borocop to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Borocop got a little sloppy there for a moment and Taylor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Borocop has managed to get both his arms back between Taylor's legs - danger averted.

Borocop is pressing down on Taylor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Taylor is holding on for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Borocop will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Borocop throws an overhand right that drops Taylor like a sack of potatoes! Borocop dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
