Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano Dzolic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dzolic has chosen Bilder song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzolic throws a hook to the side of Jackman's head but Jackman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jackman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dzolic's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jackman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dzolic's head.
Jackman chips away with some ground and pound.
Jackman scoring with punches to the head and body.
Dzolic wants to get back to his feet but Jackman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dzolic keeping full guard, as Jackman tries to pass.
Dzolic wants to stand but Jackman is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackman is looking to work some ground and pound but Dzolic has wrist control.

Dzolic has momentary wrist control but Jackman slips an elbow through the middle.
Jackman throws a big right hand that misses.

Dzolic pushes Jackman off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Jackman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Matt Jackman has been cut.
Dzolic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackman.

Dzolic misses with an uppercut.
Dzolic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackman.

Jackman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Jackman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dzolic's guard.

Jackman lands a couple of elbows.

Jackman wants to control from the top but Dzolic keeps moving.

Dzolic pushes Jackman off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jackman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dzolic.
Romano Dzolic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dzolic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Dzolic connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dzolic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dzolic lands with a hook. Jackman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jackman throws a sloppy head kick and Dzolic moves out of range easily.
Jackman thows a body shot but no joy.
Dzolic connects with a looping right hand.
Dzolic ducks under a wild hook from Jackman.
Jackman missing with a left hand there. Dzolic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Dzolic has managed to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dzolic tries to stall but Jackman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jackman tries to score a body lock takedown but Dzolic shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dzolic trying to control the position but instead, Jackman has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dzolic into the cage.
Dzolic is trying to break the clinch but Jackman is controlling him.
Dzolic stops a takedown attempt from Jackman.
Dzolic wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dzolic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dzolic scores with a hook.
Jackman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dzolic throws a jab but it's blocked by Jackman.
Jackman throws a shot from downtown. Dzolic moves away and avoids it.
Jackman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dzolic doesn't seem bothered though.
Jackman throws a jab when Dzolic was well out of range.

A nice combination there by Dzolic.

Matt Jackman's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dzolic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jackman.

Dzolic forces Jackman back against the cage and clinches.

Dzolic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dzolic connects with a jab.

After the fight, Romano Dzolic was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
