Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Holic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Alcohol. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Holic counters with a straight right hand.
Holic with a hook.

It looks like Dominic Blow has been cut.
Blow has his takedown stuffed
and Holic counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Blow with a lazy takedown attempt

and Holic counters with a shoot takedown. Blow fights it but they end up in guard.
Al Holic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominic Blow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Holic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blow is keeping the position for now.

Holic thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blow can do anything to dispel that myth.
Holic slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Holic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Holic wants to control from the top but Blow keeps moving.
Holic pushing down on Blow's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Holic wants to take a breather but Blow is having none of it.

Holic seems to be working for a kimura but Blow defends the submission attempt.

Holic is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Blow is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
