Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Crillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Racaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crillo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chaiyya Chaiyya . Racaza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spiderbait - Black Betty kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Simon Racaza will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Crillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Racaza!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Racaza throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Racaza misses with a low kick.
Crillo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Crillo fails with the takedown.

Crillo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Racaza did well to prevent Crillo getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Crillo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Crillo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Racaza reverses the position - he's now on top in Crillo's guard.

Crillo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Racaza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crillo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Racaza throws a right hand that Crillo ducks under and follows up with a left that Crillo also avoids with ease.
Racaza throws a front kick aimed at Crillo's knee but Crillo avoids it well.
Racaza throws a jab when Crillo was well out of range.

After the fight, Frank Crillo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
