Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Gionet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pink Pinky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gionet comes to the cage accompanied by "Your Going Down" by Sick Puppies. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gionet fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pinky sprawls well initially but Gionet persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gionet wants to work for an arm triangle but Pinky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pinky is looking to escape.

Gionet looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gionet is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pinky has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gionet wants to pass the guard but Pinky is defending well.

Pinky is looking to escape.

Pinky is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gionet's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gionet's back!
Pinky controlling the position well here. Gionet rolled but Pinky kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
You can see the frustration on Gionet's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Pinky keeps control of the position easily here as Gionet tries to buck him off.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gionet is breathing heavily.
Gionet prevents Pinky from getting a body triangle.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pinky has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gionet has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pinky's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gionet manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pinky's guard. Nice work there by Gionet.

Pinky lands a with a good body shot.
Pinky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pinky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pinky throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A left lands for Pinky.
Gionet has a takedown stuffed.
Pinky lands a nice looking body shot.

Pinky keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gionet closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gionet lands in his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gionet passes Pinky's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Gionet is working for a kimura but Pinky is defending it quite comfortably.

Gionet has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pinky defend it? Gionet steps over the head and cranks it - Pinky is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gionet!
