Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins's entrance music is Sans Pression- Numero 1. A fine choice. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dufflebag Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Jay Wilkins has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jay Wilkins seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins closes the distance and clinches up with Gracie, looking for a takedown. Wilkins pushes Gracie against the cage but Gracie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Wilkins.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wilkins lands a few punches from side control.
Wilkins throws an elbow but Gracie slips to the side and avoids it well.
Gracie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wilkins connects with a decent elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilkins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wilkins advances to mount.
Wilkins fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Gracie takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Wilkins breaks from Gracie's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Gracie wants to control but Wilkins is having none of it.
Wilkins is working for a guillotine from mount but Gracie frees his head quite easily.
Wilkins scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Wilkins cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Gracie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wilkins unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Gracie wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wilkins celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Jay Wilkins tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
