Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Kampmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Haga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Kampmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Haga!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haga is looking to clinch.
Kampmann tries to clinch up.

Haga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kampmann as he jumps to the side.

Haga on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Haga drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kampmann pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jake Kampmann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Haga.

Kampmann throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kampmann looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kampmann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haga moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Haga blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Haga breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Haga closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kampmann quickly recovers to half guard.
Haga looks to land a strike but Kampmann avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Haga accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Haga sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kampmann's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Haga shoots in and drives through. Kampmann sprawls well.

Kampmann thows a body kick. Haga tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Haga swats away the attempt to clinch by Kampmann.

Haga takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Haga lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kampmann circles away quickly and effectively.

Haga tries a body shot but Kampmann blocks it.
Kampmann misses with a knee to the head.
Kampmann throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Haga blocks it with crossed arms.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Haga jumps guard but Kampmann turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Haga takes an elbow to the forehead.
A frustrated look appears on Haga's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Haga has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kampmann after a bit of a struggle.

Haga has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kampmann is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Haga has picked Kampmann up - he's going for a ride! Haga dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Haga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kampmann doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Haga.
Kampmann tries to roll over but Haga keeps him under control.

Haga gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Kampmann wants to clinch up but Haga keeps it at a distance.
Haga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kampmann throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Haga's head.

Kampmann closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kampmann misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Haga.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Haga on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Haga is trying to trip Kampmann. He has hold of a leg but Kampmann is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Haga persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Haga gets to his feet. Kampmann looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kampmann tries a head kick but it misses.

Haga closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Haga is working to tighten is grip on Kampmann's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kampmann has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Haga is really squeezing tight and eventually Kampmann passes out! Haga breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
