Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Soza!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Soza as he jumps to the side.
Soza lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice combination there by Marciano.

Marciano scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marciano is looking to take a break and control but Soza is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marciano is putting a hurting on Soza here, landing some big shots from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soza is looking to regain half guard here but Marciano keeps moving and retains side control.
Soza gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Soza looks like he's trying to stand up.

Soza kicks off Marciano and gets to his feet.
Marciano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Marciano stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Marciano shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Marciano was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Marciano is breathing heavily.
Soza regains half guard.
Marciano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Soza manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Marciano throws an overhand right that lands on Soza's shoulder, as Soza tries to avoid the shot.
Martin Soza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marciano tries to clinch there but Soza circles away.
Soza moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Soza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marciano.
Soza bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Marciano throws a jab but it's blocked by Soza.
Marciano uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Soza ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Marciano throws a sloppy head kick and Soza moves out of range easily.
Marciano throws a nice looking combination but Soza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marciano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marciano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soza misses with the combination.
Marciano connects with a looping right hand.
Marciano cracks Soza with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Marciano has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Soza to stand back up!

Soza is rocked!
Marciano walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Soza drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Marciano swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Soza's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
