Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gary Dangerous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gary Dangerous!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boom Pow!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dangerous avoids it really well and circles away.
Dangerous throws a wild body kick that Pow sees coming a mile off.
Pow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dangerous defends it nicely.

Pow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dangerous manages to get to full guard.
Pow throws a big elbow that misses.
Dangerous trying to control the position.

Pow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dangerous is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pow, into his guard.
Dangerous trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pow controls Dangerous momentarily but Dangerous frees himself.
Pow keeping moving, preventing Dangerous from controlling successfully.
Dangerous with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dangerous tries to free his leg and advance position but Pow is retaining full guard.
Dangerous has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dangerous throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pow works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Dangerous wants to control from the top but Pow keeps moving.

Dangerous stands and steps away. Pow gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Pow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dangerous, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dangerous is trying to buck Pow off.

Pow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dangerous is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Pow is trying to ground and pound but Dangerous uses the momentary lack of control by Pow to regain half guard.
Dangerous is looking to escape.

Pow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dangerous does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A close round but Boom Pow will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Pow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dangerous is trying to defend but Pow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dangerous's head.
Pow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dangerous keeps working.
Pow wants to pass to mount but Dangerous is defending the position.
Pow throwing shots but Dangerous is blocking nicely.
Dangerous wants to improve his position but Pow is controlling well.
Dangerous regains full guard. Nicely done.

Dangerous is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pow is controlling him.

Dangerous is working an open guard so Pow takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pow is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dangerous's half guard.

Pow is trying to work for a kimura but Dangerous is defending well.
Dangerous keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Dangerous is looking to escape.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dangerous wants to get back to full guard.
Dangerous trying to hold on to Pow's head to control him but Pow postures up.
Pow is trying to control. Dangerous wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Boom Pow wasn't active enough on the ground.
Pow throws a head kick that misses.

Pow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pow keeps the fight on the outside.
Dangerous throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gary Dangerous is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pow dodges the punch combination from Dangerous.
Dangerous shoots in and drives through. Pow sprawls well.

Pow clinches.
Pow is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dangerous pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dangerouss head.
Pow tries to pull guard but Dangerous holds him up against the cage and eventually Pow drops back down to his feet.
Gary Dangerous has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boom Pow.
Dangerous stops a takedown attempt from Pow.

Dangerous looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Dangerous manages to break the clinch.
Dangerous tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pow paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dangerous misses with a few strikes there.
Dangerous circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pow is defended easily by Dangerous.
Dangerous throws a series of punches but Pow moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pow shoots for a double leg takedown but Dangerous sprawls well. He's pushed Pow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boom Pow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Dangerous throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pow's waist but Pow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dangerous off to one side.

Pow tries to keep at a distance but Dangerous has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dangerous tries to break the clinch but Pow is controlling the position.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Pow manages to break the clinch.
Dangerous shoots for a takedown but Pow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Pow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dangerous can't escape the position.

Pow working for a submission but Dangerous is keeping him at bay.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dangerous is trying to escape the mount.
Pow misses with a head shot.

Pow is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Dangerous is forced to tap! Great finish!
