Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Gryphen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Quo Titan Kirbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirbs has chosen Steve Miller Band - The Joker as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kirbs finds it's way through Gryphen's defenses.

It looks like Forrest Gryphen has been cut.
Kirbs throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gryphen tries to clinch but Kirbs is having none of it.
Kirbs misses with a kick to the body.
Gryphen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kirbs counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Gryphen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kirbs throws a right and a left that Gryphen avoids nicely.
Kirbs dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kirbs. Gryphen shrugs it off though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gryphen shoots in and drives through. Kirbs sprawls well.
Kirbs scores with a leg kick.

Gryphen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kirbs was covering up waiting for the punch and Gryphen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kirbs pulls Gryphen in close to prevent any damage.

Kirbs manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Gryphen tries to hold on but Kirbs pushes him away.

Gryphen is looking to improve his position but Kirbs isn't that keen on the idea.
Gryphen is trying to reverse the position but instead Kirbs has taken his back - oops!
Gryphen tries to escape but Kirbs has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Kirbs has good solid back control here.
Gryphen rolls, trying to escape but Kirbs keeps control of the position.

I really don't envy Gryphen right now.
Kirbs biding his time, looking for the opening.

Kirbs doesn't have the hooks in and Gryphen manages to turn into his guard.
Kirbs is pulling down on Gryphen's head. It's preventing any offense from Gryphen, at least for the moment.
Gryphen throws a big elbow that misses.
Gryphen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kirbs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gryphen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kirbs has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gryphen is looking to defend but Kirbs has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gryphen! Kirbs pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gryphen taps out and this one is all over!
