Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dickinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickinson has chosen Harvester of Sorrow as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Cage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dave Dickinson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickinson tries to clinch up but Cage circles away and keeps his distance.

Dickinson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dickinson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Cage wants to control but Dickinson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dickinson not doing much here.
Cage is trying to maintain the position but Dickinson is very close to passing his half guard.

Dickinson is working for a kimura but Cage is defending it quite comfortably.

Dickinson is nestled in close to Cage, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Dickinson wants to control from the top but Cage keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dickinson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cage looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Dickinson tightens his grip and picks Cage up, before dumping him to the ground. Cage manages to land in guard.

Cage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dickinson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cage will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dickinson stands up and waves to Cage to follow him.
Dickinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Cage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cage closes the distance and pushes Dickinson back into the cage.

Dickinson tries to land a knee to the head but Cage blocks with his arms.

Cage has Dickinson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Cage pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dickinson tumbling to the mat - Cage dives into Dickinson's guard.
Cage wants to control from the top but Dickinson keeps moving.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dickinson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cage is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dickinson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dickinson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cage can't fight it off and eventually Dickinson manages to take the fight to the floor. Cage looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dickinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cage's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cage's back!
Cage wants to control his opponent's hands but Dickinson gets his hands free.

Cage winds up and cracks Dickinson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Dickinson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cage pulls his head out easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cage cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
