Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robin Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Utah Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Utah Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Robin Banks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Utah Jones!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Banks checks a leg kick.
Jones tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Banks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones throws a right and a left that Banks avoids nicely.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Banks lands a slapping body shot.
Banks lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.
Banks really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Banks circles away quickly and effectively.
Banks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A combination from Banks does no damage.
Banks changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Banks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Banks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Banks lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Banks gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Banks scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Banks.
Banks jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones throws a half hearted mid kick.
Banks misses with a few strikes there.
Banks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Banks throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones wants to clinch.
Banks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A jab from Jones does it's job there.
Jones takes one on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Banks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones looks to clinch
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Banks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jones is rocked!
Banks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Banks finish him?
Banks misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones throws a leg kick
and Banks counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Banks is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Banks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Jones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Utah Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Banks.
Jones throws a series of punches but Banks avoids them all with ease.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Banks moved out of range nicely.
Banks connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jones tumbling to the canvas! Banks pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jones was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Robin Banks!
