Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Prien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Prien's choice of entrance music: Yellow Submarine. Donnie Darko has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko misses with a wild combination.
Darko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Prien manages to avoid it.

Horrible takedown by Prien or perhaps it was just good defense by Darko which made him look bad.
Darko misses with a straight left.
Darko throws a looping overhand right but Prien ducks down to avoid it.

Darko throws a body punch but Prien moves out of range.

Prien looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Darko is fending him off so far but Prien persists. Nope, Darko circles away and we're back to standing.
Darko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Prien.
Prien tries to score a power double leg takedown but Darko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Prien somewhat.

Darko loads up on a big right hand but Prien slips the punch.

Darko misses with a wild body shot.
Darko thows a body shot but no joy.
Prien shoots for a takedown but Darko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Prien moves in looking to clinch but Darko pushes him off.
Darko keeps the fight on the outside.
Darko lands the left hand.
Prien is looking to clinch but Darko is avoiding it.
Prien shoots in and drives through. Darko sprawls well.
Prien throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Darko stuffs the takedown attempt from Prien. Prien gets slowly back to his feet.
Prien tries a head kick but it misses.

Prien gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Darko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Prien jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Darko walks away with a smile on his face. Prien gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Prien misses with an attempted mid kick.
Prien shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Darko but Darko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Prien ducks under a wild hook from Darko.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Prien shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Darko sprawls well. Darko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prien gets slowly back to his feet.
Prien misses with a shot to the body
and Darko counters with a one-two to the body.
Donnie Darko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Darko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darko lands with an overhand left.
Prien darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Prien thows a huge punch but Darko dodges it nicely.
Prien thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Darko's head.
Prien is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Prien not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Prien working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Prien is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Darko sees it coming and defends easily.
Darko avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Prien.
Prien maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Darko could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Prien has cracked it and Darko is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Prien!
