The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyce stuffs the takedown attempt from Satomi. Satomi gets slowly back to his feet.
Satomi looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Boyce keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Che Satomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Satomi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boyce as he jumps to the side.
A cross from Boyce lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Satomi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Boyce looks gassed!
Satomi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Satomi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boyce but Boyce pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Satomi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Satomi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Satomi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Satomi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Boyce's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Satomi tries to control but Boyce wriggling away.
Satomi takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Boyce controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Satomi has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Boyce is in real trouble here. Satomi gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Boyce is tapping out! Satomi wins by rear naked choke!
