Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Troy Slamen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Camden Brooking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slamen's entrance music is Jaws Theme. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Troy Slamen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Camden Brooking!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooking throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brooking misses with a takedown attempt - Slamen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Brooking tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slamen swivels and escapes.
Troy Slamen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slamen has managed to clinch.
Brooking tries to pull guard but Slamen holds him up against the cage and eventually Brooking drops back down to his feet.
Troy Slamen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Camden Brooking.
Brooking tries for a takedown. No joy.
The referee is keeping an eye on Slamen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Slamen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Slamen manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brooking gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Slamen wants to control the pace but Brooking is squirming around nicely.
Brooking is looking to improve his position but Slamen isn't that keen on the idea.
