Alfa comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu - Smoke Serpent. Tieros is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: All Over You-Live. Savo Tieros acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Alfa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tieros!
Alfa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tieros is looking to escape.

Alfa looking for a guillotine from mount but Tieros is having none of it.
Alfa tries to control but Tieros wriggling away.
Tieros tries to get back to half guard but can't.
BOOM! Alfa connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tieros is wriggling around trying to escape.
Alfa with a couple of short strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alfa prevents Tieros from getting the reversal.
Alfa trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Alfa is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tieros can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tieros tries to hold on but Alfa postures up.
Alfa wants to control the pace but Tieros is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tieros tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Alfa moves to the back position.

Tieros is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Alfa gets his way!
Alfa is punishing Tieros with strikes - can he finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Alfa patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Tieros is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Alfa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Alfa is cranking Tieros's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Tieros! He's tightened the choke and Tieros is tapping out!
