Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Freedmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Freedmen's choice of entrance music: Hero by Skillet. Roger Freedmen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre throws a head kick that misses.
Freedmen shoots in but Andre avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Freedmen throws a shot from downtown. Andre moves away and avoids it.
Both fighters circling a little - Freedmen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Andre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Freedmen 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Freedmen throws a lazy right hand but Andre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Freedmen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Freedmen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Freedmen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Andre sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Freedmen takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Freedmen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Freedmen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Andre uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Freedmen.
Andre tries to land a front kick but Freedmen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Andre misses with an uppercut. Freedmen saw that one coming.
Freedmen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Andre leaves Freedmen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Freedmen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Andre.

Freedmen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Freedmen throws a solid leg kick but Andre takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Freedmen.
Freedmen throws a lazy right hand but Andre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Andre feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Freedmen's calf.
Freedmen throws out a loose jab but Andre uses good head movement to avoid it.

Andre lands a head kick. Freedmen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Freedmen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Marc Andre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Freedmen.
Andre tries a head kick but it misses.
Freedmen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Andre is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Freedmen.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Andre.
A jab from Andre does it's job there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Freedmen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Andre.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marc Andre dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Freedmen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Andre moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Andre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Andre avoids the body shot from Freedmen.
Andre fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Andre here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Andre misses with a wild body shot.
Andre cracks Freedmen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A big left from Freedmen misses.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Freedmen might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Andre has got the better of the exchanges.
Andre lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

That kick from Andre tenderised Freedmen's leg. Freedmen is trying to keep his angry face on.

Freedmen's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Freedmen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Andre scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A head kick by Andre - that's a beauty! Freedmen is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Andre can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
