Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adolf Jakobsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Furzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakobsen comes to the cage accompanied by Wu Tang Clan - M.E.T.H.O.D Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adolf Jakobsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Furzon!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furzon closes the distance but Jakobsen moves to the side

and Jakobsen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Furzon's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jakobsen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jakobsen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jakobsen stands and steps away. Furzon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Frankie Furzon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jakobsen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Furzon counters by clinching up.

Furzon manages to break the clinch.

Furzon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jakobsen is trying to keep an underhook but Furzon manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Furzon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jakobsen has managed to free his arm - good work.

Furzon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jakobsen defends it well.

Jakobsen looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Furzon pushes past his half guard into mount!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jakobsen is looking to control Furzon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jakobsen avoid being mounted?

Jakobsen is trying to maintain the position but Furzon is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jakobsen is refusing to be controlled, as Furzon sits in half guard.
Furzon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jakobsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jakobsen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Jakobsen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Furzon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Furzon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Furzon stays in close to Jakobsen's body and controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adolf Jakobsen will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Furzon wants to clinch up but Jakobsen keeps it at a distance.

Jakobsen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Furzon's half guard.

Adolf Jakobsen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jakobsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Furzon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jakobsen has Furzon in his guard.
Furzon wants to control from the top but Jakobsen keeps moving.
Jakobsen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adolf Jakobsen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jakobsen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Adolf Jakobsen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
