Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marijo Palavra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Texas Trash!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Trash swings for the body but Palavra moves out of range.
Palavra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Trash counter with a right hand.
Trash throws a big shot that misses.
Palavra feints and as Trash raises his hands in defense, Palavra changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Palavra with a flurry of punches that miss.
Trash wants to sweep here but Palavra controlling him for the moment.
Palavra trying to control the position from guard on top but Trash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Palavra controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Palavra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Trash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palavra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Palavra drops back, looking for a kneebar! Trash looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Trash looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Trash!
Trash content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Palavra is trying to control Trash's posture but Trash avoids it.

Palavra has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trash is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are battling for position here. Palavra manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Palavra is trying to control the position but Trash postures up.
Palavra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trash manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Palavra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Trash dives on top into guard.
Palavra lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Trash!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trash can do anything to dispel that myth.
Palavra goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Trash is on top in guard.

Trash trying to control but Palavra is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Palavra manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trash manages to get himself to full guard.
Palavra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Trash dives on top into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Palavra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trash as he jumps to the side.
Palavra shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trash sprawls well. Trash wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Palavra gets slowly back to his feet.

Palavra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Palavra shoots in for a takedown but Trash shows good takedown defense.

Trash stuffs the takedown attempt from Palavra. Palavra gets slowly back to his feet.
Trash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Trash cracks Palavra with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Palavra ducks right into an uppercut from Trash.
Trash connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Palavra's hands.
Trash lands a nice shot that snaps Palavra's head back.
Palavra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Trash counters with a nice body shot.
Trash lands with an overhand left.
Trash lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Palavra is rocked!
Trash lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Palavra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Trash lands a beautiful left hook that drops Palavra. Palavra tries to recover but Trash is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Palavra lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Texas Trash!
