Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desmond Miles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Another Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miles's waist but Miles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side.
Fighter slips a straight right by Miles.
Fighter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Fighter.
Fighter swings for the body but Miles moves out of range.
Fighter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miles.
Miles misses with a few strikes there.
Miles misses with a looping right.
Miles lands a really nice looking cross but Fighter seems unphased.
Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miles's waist but Miles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side.
Miles jabs at Fighter's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fighter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Desmond Miles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Another Fighter.
Miles throws a right and a left that Fighter avoids nicely.
Miles works Fighter's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter tries for a takedown but Miles circles away easily
and Miles counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Fighter looks gassed!
Fighter moves away from the strike by Miles.
Fighter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Miles counters with a crisp one two that drops Fighter! Miles thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fighter to his feet! Fighter is in big trouble!
Fighter is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miles is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Miles shuts the power down on Fighter. Lights out, game over! Miles is your winner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Desmond Miles!
A relieved looking Desmond Miles thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
