Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vandal Gragas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assis's entrance music is Falling Slowly. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assis closes the distance and pushes Gragas back into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gragas dives in and grabs Assis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Assis pushes down on Gragas's head and hops out.

Gragas jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Assis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Assis and Gragas has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
