Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allen Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Edward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Iverson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Champ-nelly. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iverson scores with a push kick.

Iverson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Iverson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Iverson fails with a takedown attempt.
Iverson dives in and grabs Edward's left leg, looking for a takedown. Edward pushes down on Iverson's head and hops out.
Edward uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Iverson.
Edward stuffs the takedown.

Iverson tries to clinch but Edward is having none of it.

Iverson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Edward tries to score a power double leg takedown but Iverson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Edward somewhat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Iverson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Edward as he jumps to the side.

Edward keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Iverson enables Edward to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Iverson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by Edward or perhaps it was just good defense by Iverson which made him look bad.

Well Edward has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Brock Edward was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
