The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Passos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bourque.
dos Passos thows a left - swing and a miss!
dos Passos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bourque swivels and escapes.
dos Passos throws a looping overhand right but Bourque ducks down to avoid it.
dos Passos shoots in for a double leg but Bourque sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bourque uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from dos Passos.
Bourque misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bourque throws a hook but dos Passos blocks it.
dos Passos misses with a takedown attempt - Bourque sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Paul Bourque has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helio dos Passos.

It looks like Paul Bourque has been cut.
Bourque throws a good cross that connects.
Bourque looks to land a left hand but dos Passos moved out of range nicely.

dos Passos tests Bourque's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Bourque connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fighters circling - dos Passos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bourque on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Bourque counters with a lovely straight right hand!
dos Passos misses with a looping left.
dos Passos loads up on a big right hand but Bourque slips the punch.

dos Passos drops Bourque with a big left hand and mounts him. Bourque is in big trouble!

Bourque is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

dos Passos has hold of Bourque's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bourque manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Oh Bourque is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

dos Passos is working for a guillotine from mount but Bourque frees his head quite easily.

dos Passos goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bourque is on top in guard.
Bourque won't allow dos Passos to sweep him here.
Bourque seems to have got his legs back now.
Bourque is looking to stand up but dos Passos won't let him.

dos Passos looking for a triangle here. Bourque is fighting it but it looks tight! dos Passos pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bourque is tapping out - this one is all over!

A relieved looking Helio dos Passos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
