Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dra Gon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Pistol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pistol darts in trying to clinch

Gon is nestled in close to Pistol, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Gon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pistol with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Gon slips a nice elbow through Pistol's hands, connecting with Pistol's forehead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gon circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pistol closes the distance but Gon moves to the side

and Gon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pistol won't be happy with that.
Gon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pistol down.
Gon cracks Pistol with a big right hand but Pistol just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Gon working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pistol tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Gon presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Gon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pistol can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pistol sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

This one could be over very soon! Gon goes limp - he's gone! Pistol jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
