The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masterson clinches.
Grimnir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Masterson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Grimnir keeps the fight on the outside.
Grimnir misses with a hook. Masterson ducked under it nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Masterson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Grimnir lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Grimnir scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Grimnir feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Masterson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Grimnir has Masterson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Grimnir pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Masterson tumbling to the mat - Grimnir dives into Masterson's guard.
Masterson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Grimnir doesn't defend quickly enough and Masterson has managed to lock this one up! Can Grimnir escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Masterson on a fantastic submission victory.
