Bomb kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Casino Royale Soundtrack - You Know My Name. Monster has chosen Cookie Monster Eating Cookie as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 14 - 6, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Cookie Monster!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bomb connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Monster momentarily.
Bomb cracks Monster with a good jab.
Monster scores with a hook to the body. Bomb takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bomb tries to close the distance and clinch but Monster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Monster.
Monster moves out of range as Bomb strikes.
Good leg kick by Monster there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Monster avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bomb tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Monster is able to avoid easily.
Monster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bomb was well out of range. Poor timing from Monster.
Monster rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bomb counters with a body kick.
Monster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bomb with a jab.
A lazy left from Bomb finds it's target.
Bomb goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bomb thows a body shot but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bomb misses with a leg kick
and Monster counters with a solid body kick.
Bomb avoids the head kick by Monster.
Bomb throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bomb misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Monster.
Monster checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Monster looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like Cookie Monster has been cut.
Bomb with a nice cross.
Monster with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A lazy left from Monster finds it's target.
Monster connects with a solid leg kick.
Bomb pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bomb fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bomb is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Monster throws a looping overhand right but Bomb ducks down to avoid it.
Bomb misses with an uppercut.
Bomb misses with a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Monster throws a series of punches but Bomb moves out of range.
James Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monster showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bomb.
Bomb throws an overhand right that lands on Monster's shoulder, as Monster tries to avoid the shot.
A big right from Bomb misses.
Monster blocks a jab.
Monster chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A solid body kick from Bomb.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bomb.
Monster circles away from the clinch attempt
and Monster counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bomb's knee momentarily.
Monster avoids the head kick by Bomb.
Monster connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bomb. Bomb circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Monster waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bomb.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bomb is looking to clinch.
Bomb swings for the body but Monster moves out of range.
Monster misses with a leg kick
and Bomb counters with a leg kick.
Monster throws a series of punches but Bomb moves out of range.
Bomb throws a half hearted mid kick.
Monster lands a jab to the nose.
Bomb throws a lazy right hand but Monster sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bomb works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Monster - that will leave a mark!
The fighters circle, before Bomb throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Monster's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bomb lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). James Bomb!
A very excited looking James Bomb made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
