Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Dignam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dignam comes into the arena with The Ruler's Back blaring out of the sound system. Ryan has chosen Girlfriend as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dignam fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ryan checks it well.

Ryan lands with an uppercut that bounces Dignam off the cage and back into range.

Dignam fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ryan leaves Dignam with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dignam is breathing heavily.
Ryan lands a jab to Dignam's midsection.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dignam with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ryan to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Tyler Dignam has been cut.
Dignam takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ryan connects with a right hand. Dignam shakes it off.
Ryan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ryan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ryan cracks the inside of Dignam's front leg.

Dignam moves forwards but Ryan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ryan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jake Ryan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ryan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ryan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dignam on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ryan. Ryan obviously looking to wear him down.
Ryan lands with a nice body punch.
Dignam on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Ryan cracks Dignam with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dignam looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ryan finish him?

Dignam is rocked!
A solid leg kick lands there for Ryan.
Oh Dignam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ryan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dignam seems to have got his legs back now.
Dignam ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ryan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Ryan misses with a looping right.
Dignam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ryan.
Dignam takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ryan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dignam is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Ryan lands a big right hand that sends Dignam crashing to the mat! Ryan stays standing though and waves Dignam back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
