Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spyde Radic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaiser Soze has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Spyde Radic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaiser Soze!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soze gets the takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Soze seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Soze in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Soze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Radic keeps working.
Soze is chipping away with strikes.
Soze is looking to take a break and control but Radic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Soze grinds an elbow into Radic's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Radic is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
You can see the frustration on Radic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Soze working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Soze lands a few punches from side control.
Radic sneaks back into half guard.
Soze is nestled in close to Radic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Radic is looking to improve his position.
Soze is looking to take a break and control but Radic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Soze is trying to control the action in half guard but Radic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Soze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Soze lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Radic tries to improve position but can't.
Soze remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Soze cracks Radic with a big right hand but Radic just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Soze looks up at the clock and then as Radic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Soze smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Radic is not content to let Soze control the position.
Soze scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Radic to see if he's OK.

Soze has control of an arm but Radic manages to advance to Soze's back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Radic looking for the RNC.

Radic is persistently looking for the submission but Soze is defending it well.
Soze breaks Radic's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Radic controlling the position.
Soze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Soze connects with a couple of short punches.
Radic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kaiser Soze dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Soze takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Radic lands with a kick to the ribs.
Soze slaps away a takedown attempt from Radic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Radic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Radic there as he acknowledges the shot.
Soze throws the left hand but Radic avoids the punch easily.
Radic wants to clinch up but Soze keeps it at a distance.
Radic lands with a nice body kick.
Radic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Radic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Soze fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Radic misses with a head kick.
Radic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Soze shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Radic napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Radic manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Soze wants to get back to his feet.
Soze wants to improve his position but Radic is controlling well.

Soze kicks Radic off and gets back to his feet.

Radic gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Radic wants to sweep here but Soze controlling him for the moment.

Soze drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Soze jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Soze throws an elbow that misses. Radic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Soze's guard. Nice move by Radic!
Soze avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Radic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Soze is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Soze has escaped and now he's on top!
Soze controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Radic looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Soze passes into half guard.
Radic manages to get to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kaiser Soze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Soze shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Soze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Soze with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Radic manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Soze on his heels. He'll look to pass Soze's guard now, I'm sure.
Soze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Soze has his feet on Radic's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Radic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Soze moves away.
Soze throws a right and a left that both miss.
Radic walks into a jab.
Radic lands with a kick to the ribs.
Soze connects with a good right hand that stumbles Radic. Radic circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Soze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Radic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Soze blocks the body kick.
Soze jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Radic goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Radic misses with an attempted mid kick.
Radic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Radic misses with a wild combination.

Radic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Soze shoots in for a double leg but Radic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Soze keeps the fight on the outside.
Soze circles away from the clinch attempt.
Radic misses with a few strikes there.
Radic on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Radic looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Soze moves out of range of the body kick.
Radic throws a jab when Soze was well out of range.
Spyde Radic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Soze swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Radic.
Radic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Radic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Soze misses with a hook.
Radic lands a nice looking body kick.

Soze lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Radic darts in trying to clinch
enabling Soze to counter with a crisp jab.
Radic throws a solid leg kick but Soze takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Radic.
Soze avoids the head kick by Radic.
Radic has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Soze finds it's way round the side to connect with Radic's head.
Soze fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Radic avoids it really well and circles away.
Spyde Radic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaiser Soze.

Soze digs a good hook to Radic's body.
Radic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spyde Radic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Radic plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Radic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Radic takes a jab right on the kisser.


Radic is rocked!
Soze bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Radic's head backwards.
Oh Radic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Soze pounces like a tiger and cracks Radic with a vicious hook! Radic is down but not out! Soze follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kaiser Soze!
Kaiser Soze was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
