Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giannis Papadopoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papadopoulos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slayer - Angel Of Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papadopoulos is looking to land body kicks.
Papadopoulos ducks under a wild hook from Raiden.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Papadopoulos.
Papadopoulos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Raiden.
Papadopoulos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raiden scores with a nice head shot.
Papadopoulos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raiden moves away.
Raiden connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Papadopoulos scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Papadopoulos tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Raiden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Raiden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Papadopoulos.

Giannis Papadopoulos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Papadopoulos plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Raiden throws a hook but Papadopoulos avoids it easily.
Papadopoulos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Raiden dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Raiden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Papadopoulos moves in looking to clinch but Raiden pushes him off.

Papadopoulos takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Raiden keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Raiden keeps the fight on the outside.
Papadopoulos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Raiden throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Papadopoulos stumbling backwards into the cage! Papadopoulos bounces back off the cage towards Raiden, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Raiden lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Raiden celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
