Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omar Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shalako Carlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by The Notorious B.I.G - Ready to Die. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres shoots in and bounces Carlin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Carlin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Torres!
Carlin avoids the attempt from Torres to control.

Carlin fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Torres is looking to improve his position but Carlin isn't that keen on the idea.

Carlin lands a big shot there that rocks Torres but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Torres is bucking up trying to escape but Carlin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carlin is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Torres tries to reverse the position but Carlin maintains control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Carlin lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Torres! Carlin sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Torres and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
