Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaquille O Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neal has chosen Fuck you as his entrance music. Shaquille O Neal has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frank Mir's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir doesn't manage to clinch there - O Neal circles away.
Mir is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
O Neal wants to clinch.
O Neal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mir shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
O Neal moves to clinch but Mir breaks away
and Mir counters with a nice low kick that buckles O Neal's knee momentarily.
O Neal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

O Neal drives through and clinches with Mir against the cage.
O Neal stalls.
The crowd are getting on O Neal's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
O Neal misses with a punch to the body.
O Neal lands a nice uppercut.
A body shot lands from O Neal.
Mir tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mir jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as O Neal walks away with a smile on his face. Mir gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him.

O Neal rushes Mir and presses him up against the cage.
O Neal is struggling to control the position.
Mir tries a knee to the head but O Neal blocks it.
Mir wants a takedown.

O Neal lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Mir jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as O Neal walks away with a smile on his face. Mir gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Mir counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in O Neal's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mir postures up in O Neal's guard and throws a big left but O Neal blocks it.

Mir drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mir jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mir is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! O Neal is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! O Neal has escaped and now he's on top!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Neal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mir is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! O Neal rolls with it to try and escape but Mir cranks on the arm and O Neal is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
