The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overslam looks to score with a jab to the body but Africanus is just out of range.
Overslam lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Julius Africanus has been cut.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Africanus cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Dante Overslam has been cut.
Africanus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Africanus goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Overslam turns into him and now he's in Africanus's guard.

Africanus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Julius Africanus will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Overslam cracks Africanus with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Overslam has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Africanus to stand back up!

Dante Overslam seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Overslam engages and cracks Africanus with a massive lead left hook - Africanus tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Overslam is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
