The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ss keeps the fight on the outside.
Kytke wants to clinch.
ss dodges the punch combination from Kytke.
Kytke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but ss moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kytke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but ss paws at him with a jab and circles away.
ss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kytke tries to close the distance and clinch but ss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kytke drops his hands momentarily and ss takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kytke shoots in for a double leg but ss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cks ss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

ss lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Kytke counters with a nice double leg into side control. ss won't be happy with that.
ss gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Cks ss seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kytke walks into a stiff left hand from ss.
Kytke moves in looking to clinch but ss pushes him off.
ss shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kytke sprawls well. Kytke wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. ss gets slowly back to his feet.
ss shoots for a double leg takedown but Kytke sprawls well. He's pushed ss's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

ss is working for takedown but Kytke is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hans Kytke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cks ss.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hans Kytke will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
