Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rickie Banks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Wood!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wood gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Banks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That was a close round but I would say that Rickie Banks will probably get the nod.

Banks's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wood connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Banks scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wood escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Banks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jeff Wood will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Banks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
