Hoehne feints and as Roop raises his hands in defense, Hoehne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Roop is trying to control the position but Hoehne postures up.
Hoehne passes into half guard.
Hoehne is thwarting Roop's attempts to control the position.
Roop tries to get to full guard but Hoehne has control of the leg.
