PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kaiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Kaiser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mario Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kaiser.

Kaiser fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ramirez, pushing him back against the cage.

Kaiser has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ramirez uses from the top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

It looks like Mario Ramirez has been cut.
Kaiser tries to close the distance and clinch but Ramirez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
