Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bite Fab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bite Fab has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bite Fab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Barney Doyle!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fab looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fab seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Doyle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fab looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Doyle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fab wants to control but Doyle is keeping him busy.

Doyle has one foot on Fab's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Doyle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fab is controlling him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doyle can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fab postures up in Doyle's guard and throws a big left but Doyle blocks it.

Fab not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fab stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doyle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bite Fab dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
