Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leo Kaiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Mansikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaiser's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Oben am jungen Rhein. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mansikka's choice of entrance music: Sattuu. Teppo Mansikka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Teppo Mansikka!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mansikka motions for Kaiser to come forward. Mansikka throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kaiser avoids the head kick by Mansikka.
Mansikka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kaiser throws a leg kick but Mansikka sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mansikka blocks a head kick by Kaiser.
Mansikka cracks Kaiser with an open hand slap.
Mansikka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kaiser.
Kaiser misses with a body kick.
Kaiser throws a chopping leg kick but Mansikka manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kaiser throws a big shot that misses.
Mansikka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kaiser looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mansikka is looking to take a break and control but Kaiser is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mansikka decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Kaiser throws a wild body kick that Mansikka sees coming a mile off.
Kaiser goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kaiser gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Mansikka finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Mansikka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mansikka is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mansikka has closed the distance and engaged Kaiser in a clinch.
Mansikka unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kaiser lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Kaiser swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mansikka manages to break the clinch.
Kaiser will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mansikka connects with a solid leg kick.
Kaiser really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Mansikka counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mansikka stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Mansikka pushes Kaiser back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Kaiser fails to land.
Mansikka lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Mansikka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Leo Kaiser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mansikka lands with a good body shot.
Kaiser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mansikka thows a body shot but no joy.
Mansikka clinches up with Kaiser and pushes him back against the cage.
Mansikka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mansikka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mansikka passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Mansikka creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kaiser sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mansikka decides to stand back up.
Kaiser uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mansikka.
Mansikka shoots for a double leg takedown but Kaiser sprawls well. He's pushed Mansikka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kaiser tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mansikka is able to avoid easily.
Kaiser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kaiser.
Kaiser ducks under a wild hook from Mansikka.
Kaiser throws the kick towards the body but Mansikka avoids it.
Mansikka moves into the clinch.
Kaiser prevents a body shot from Mansikka.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kaiser lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kaiser is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kaiser struggles to land a body shot inside as Mansikka controls his hands.

Teppo Mansikka dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kaiser feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mansikka's calf.
Kaiser steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mansikka.
Mansikka goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and Mansikka counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kaiser closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Mansikka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Mansikka throws a nice looking combination but Kaiser bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mansikka lands a leg kick that knocks Kaiser off balance momentarily.

Mansikka cracks a nice hook into Kaiser's ribs.
Mansikka is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kaiser rather than just go for the knockout.

Mansikka rushes Kaiser with punches - Kaiser moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Kaiser goes down! Mansikka follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Teppo Mansikka started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
