The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House fails with an attempt to clinch.
House's corner calls for a 1-2. House obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Buster misses with a takedown attempt - House sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

House gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Buster is pressed up against the cage. House has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Buster down to the mat. Buster avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Buster will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Buster gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

House bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Buster tries to escape but House is in control.
House wants to stand but Buster has his arm trapped.
Buster sneaks back into half guard.
Buster moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Buster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
House trying to stand up but can't free himself from Buster's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buster bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in House's guard.
Buster slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Buster tries to move to mount but House blocks the move with his legs.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Buster stands up and we're back to a striking position.
House digs a good body shot into Buster's ribs.
House cracks Buster with a good jab.

House gets a takedown into half guard.
House wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buster keeps working.

House is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Buster has managed to free his arm - good work.
Buster wants to improve his position but House is controlling well.
Buster looks gassed!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Rex Buster has been cut.

and House counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
House is looking to clinch.

House closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
House wants to stand up but Buster is controlling the position.
Buster on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
House seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
House looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

House tries to pass to full mount but Buster defends it.

Buster is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but House pulls his head out easily.
House prevents Buster from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

House stopping the sweep attempt from Buster.

Buster looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but House is defending well. Buster quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! House has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Buster celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
