Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jager Statsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jager Statsy struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Statsy defends it nicely.
Statsy tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Statsy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Statsy.
Statsy slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Statsy tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Statsy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
